Having released its first issue in the fall of 2007, Phenomenology & Practice is now inviting submissions, central to the journal’s focus and scope, for its second edition.
Phenomenology & Practice consciously seeks to exploit the resonant and symbiotic relationship between the orientation of hermeneutic phenomenology to lived experience and the notion of practice as non-cognitive knowledge-in-action.
Please refer to information about journal scope and policies.
Submissions should be between 7000 and 15000 words in length, and should conform to the guidelines of the APA and those specified in the journal template.

Call for Papers on Methodology
Herbert Spiegelberg describes the phenomenological method as the "enlarging and deepening [of] the range of our immediate experience." He adds: It "expresses a revolt against an approach to philosophy that takes its point of departure from crystallized beliefs and theories."
The method(s) of phenomenology, in other words, can be radical and far-reaching. The journal Phenomenology & Practice, correspondingly, is inviting contributions specifically on the method and the methodology of hermeneutic phenomenology and its radical character. Submissions can be about methods of gathering phenomenological data through interviews or other means, reflective methods, methods of writing and expression, or the underpinning methodology of different methodical approaches.
Papers on method and methodology may be submitted throughout the 2008 calendar year. The Issue is to be released when a substantial number of articles have been assembled.
